Deactivating an Internal Actor
The administrator uses the Change Status option in the Actor Detail to terminate or deactivate an actor and remove the actor from the actor list. If the administrator wants the actor to display in the list again, the terminated actor can be reactivated.
- From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Home tab.
- In the Setup and Policy section, click Setup.
- In the User Management section, click Users.
Result: The Internal Actors window is displayed.
- Check the checkbox of the actor to be deactivated.
- Click Action > Change Status.
Result: The Actor entry window is displayed.
NOTE: Actors can only be deactivated from the view.
- Click the drop down button and select the appropriate status, such as TERMINATED or ON LEAVE.
- Enter a comment or reason for deactivating the actor.
- Confirm your user ID and enter your password. Click the Save button.
Result: The internal actor has been deactivated and removed from the Actor list.
